KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Sdn Bhd (NCT Alliance), a provider of information technology services, has completed its corporate name change exercise.

Previously known as Grand-Flo Sdn Bhd (Grand-Flo), NCT Alliance now intends to focus exclusively on property development.

Executive chairman and group managing director Datuk Sri Yap Ngan Choy said the new corporate name and identity is in line with the company's aspiration to position NCT Alliance as a leading property developer with specialisation in the rehabilitation of abandoned projects.

Yap said the completion of the name change marks a new beginning for NCT Alliance as it leverages the company's core capabilities in the property sector.

"The recent acquisition is clearly the first step towards becoming one of the Top 10 developers in the country," he said.

Meanwhile, Yap said the company is progressing well and is on track with its ongoing projects.

"Given our track record and niche expertise, we aim to clinch new development projects across the nation.

"As we move forward, we remain optimistic on our long-term prospects for the company while providing a highly specialised service to the sector," he said.

NCT Alliance has undertaken several property development projects, including Grand Ion Majestic (GIM), Grand Ion Delemen (GID), Mahkota Kampar, and Acacia Residences.

Following the name change, NCT Alliance stocks would be quoted under the new stock short name of 'NCT' with effect from July 12, 2021.
